MDAS is a proud, grass-roots Aboriginal Community-Controlled Organisation delivering sustainable, democratic services and providing the local community with a vehicle for self-determination.
As Aboriginal Australians, we believe we are best-placed to decide and implement the programs and services that work for our own communities.

With MDAS and the community working together, we know we can positively enrich the lives of all Aboriginal people living and working along the many river systems in the Mallee District.
The 2020 Annual Report will be presented to our MDAS Annual General Meeting on November 28, 2020. This report relates to the period of July 1, 2019 and June 30, 2020. It is important to note that much has changed since this time.
MDAS has implemented a reform strategy and we are being supported in this by the Interim Chair Deb Chaplin, Acting Chief Executive Officer Jacki Turfrey, and the Acting Executive Director Jill Gallagher.
