Job Description:
The Aboriginal Practice Leader will be responsible for providing practice leadership and expert advice to the Hub workforce on culturally safe and inclusive specialist family violence services, child and family services and perpetrator interventions. The Aboriginal Practice Leader will provide secondary consultations to internal and external stakeholders and proactively build cultural safety and competence in the Hub.
The role requirements include:
• High performing practice leader, with experience working with highly sensitive and complex cases with Aboriginal children and families, including victim survivors and perpetrators of family violence.
• Demonstrated in depth knowledge and understanding of Aboriginal communities and the issues impacting them.
• Passionate about service reform, integrated service delivery and improving outcomes for Aboriginal children and families.
• A team player, with strong stakeholder relationships and partnership approach.
