Job Description:
The HIPPY Tutor is primarily responsible for the involvement and ongoing assistance with the delivery of the HIPPY Program. The Tutor will undertake initial training before assisting with the delivery and implementation of the HIPPY model into the local community. Tutoring of the HIPPY program will include training and ongoing support for enrolled parents engaged in the service, based on a peer-to-peer support model. Recruitment and retention of participants shall be completed to ensure target numbers and key performance indicators are maintained/achieved.
In addition, the HIPPY Tutor will be required to work collaboratively with all staff within the Early Years programs to maximise outcomes for clients engaged in all identified local services.
The role is open to parents of a child currently enrolled and fully engaged in the HIPPY program, has been within the last 12 months or is eligible to enroll.
