Job Description:
The Manager Care and Culture Services will manage all services within the Care and Culture Unit.
Program delivery includes: Out of Home Care, Kinship Care, First Supports and Targeted Care Packages, Family Reunification, Therapeutic Residential Care, Culture Advocate Support. Day to day operational management will include:
• Managing a diverse team of staff.
• Integrating all program areas to maximise benefits and services to the Mallee District Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities.
• Managing service delivery to ensure continuous improvement, risk management and quality assurance are achieved, and accreditation standards are met or exceeded at all times.
The Manager has day to day responsibility and accountability for the development of a responsive and efficient framework for operational service delivery that meets the requirements of the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community as identified in the Strategic Plan and in accordance with MDAS Policies and procedures, exercise delegation of authority and make appropriate decisions.
