Job Description:

The Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) Compliance Officer will work within the Governance & Quality team providing OHS services to relevant staff and MDAS department to ensure work practices are reflective and consistent with safe work practices. Ensuring MDAS meet its compliance obligations including legislative requirements, policies and procedures. They will act as a subject expert within a multi-disciplinary team providing support and expert advice to Health Safety Representatives (HSR’s), Executive management, managers and staff
to provide skills to conduct intensive area inspections within each MDAS department in accordance with compliance obligations and best practice guidelines for health and safety.
