Welcome to Mallee District Aboriginal Service's Work Experience and Tertiary Placement Website.

MDAS is committed to providing a Work Experience and Tertiary Student Placement Program designed to:
  • Contribute to the development of the skills of young people;
  • Ease the transition of students into the workplace; and
  • Demonstrate the wide variety of interesting careers available within MDAS.

Please Note: The MDAS Work Experience and Placement program offers unpaid work experience and placement for students residing in Australia only.

  • Who is it for?
Work experience or placement with MDAS provides an opportunity to experience one of the wide variety of careers available in MDAS, while contributing to the development and education of Australian students.

A work experience or placement student can be a student at a secondary school, university or other place of education who undertakes work experience or a student placement with MDAS.

Students participating in MDAS work experience or placement must be at least 15 years of age at the time of the placement

  • What's on offer?
The MDAS Work Experience and Placement Program provides young Australians interested in MDAS as a future career, the opportunity to sample life in MDAS and learn more about MDAS as an Aboriginal Community Controlled Organisation.
